Gabriel Weber Costa

Gabriel holds a PhD and MSc in Economics from the São Paulo School of Economics, as well as a BA in Economics from the Federal University of Pelotas. Prior to joining UCL, he was a Research Associate at the São Paulo School of Economics' Center for Learning on Evaluation and Results for Lusophone Africa and Brazil, where he focused on the monitoring and evaluation of public policies, particularly in education and early childhood development. Gabriel has extensive experience working with governments and international organizations, including the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, and the Climate Investment Funds, on initiatives aimed at enhancing policy effectiveness and outcomes.
