Laurie Day

Laurie is a Technical Director in the Policy and Research Unit at Ecorys, with lead responsibility for children and families research. He has over 20 years’ experience overseeing studies and evaluations for UK Government, local authorities, charitable trusts, and EU and international agencies. Laurie’s work has a particular focus on family-minded practices. He is Project Director on the Family Hubs Transformation 2 national evaluation and previously led evaluations of the Innovation Fund, Improving Futures, and Supporting Families programmes. He holds the honorary title of visiting research fellow at the School of Human & Health Sciences, University of Huddersfield (2020-25).
